After a brief stop in the historic Animas Forks ghost town, the little purple devil Jeeps up to the summit of Cinnamon Pass before his descent to Lake City.
As you can see, the weather was a bit more winter-like at elevation, even if it was August!

Last summer, our little purple adventurer also took a trip back in time to the Animas Forks ghost town.
And he didn’t use the Wayback Machine. He rented a jeep from Vickers Ranch in Lake City and headed over Cinnamon Pass on the Alpine Loop from Silverton.
